Letter From Our Founder
As s student Health Visitor, I quickly observed that dry skin concerns and eczema related questions were among the top questions families asked when they attended clinic.
They would normally talk about their frustration of not finding non- steroidal products that really worked for them.
I often wondered why there are so many products on the market and yet the needs of these families were not being met?
During this time, I learnt as part of my studies and through extensive research that a better skin stems from a boosted barrier.
Many years on, after working with a British Cosmetic Chemist, Darkkins was born to create effective skincare that solved their skin concerns making them feel beautiful, naturally.

Let's Talk Ceramides!
Ceramides, our hero ingredient, is a 'skin-identical' glue that holds our skin cells together to keep our skin barrier intact and healthy.
As one ages and through sun damage, together with skin conditions, the quality and quantity of ceramides reduce leading to a compromised skin barrier, resulting in a dry, rough skin, wrinkles, redness, irritation and dehydration.
Introducing Ceramides in our skincare mean sealing in moisture, protecting the skin from external hazards, strengthening the skin’s barrier and improving hydration.
This results in smoother and firmer skin, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, relieving dry skin, soothing and easing irritation.
